Chelsea captain John Terry admits he cannot wait to get back on the green grass of Wembley on Sunday.
The premier league champions face FA cup winners Arsenal in the community shield later this afternoon, just one week away from the campaign kicking off for real And having played all of their pre-season games so far overseas, the former England captain is eager to play in front of their fans on home soil.
“I’m excited to go again,” revealed Terry, who has fond memories of Wembley after winning four FA Cups there in the last nine years.
“This is the start of the season, the chance to see new players and the fans are excited and ready to go again for a new campaign.
